Fadi Matthew Kazandji

Fadi Matthew Kazandji is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kazandji Law, an Ontario litigation firm focused on criminal defence, family law, and child protection matters. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2017, he has built a broad courtroom practice representing individuals and families in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice throughout the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario.

Matthew's criminal defence practice includes serious and complex allegations such as homicide, attempted murder, firearms and weapons offences, robbery, fraud, impaired driving, assault, domestic violence, sexual offences, drug offences, and breaches of court orders. His work includes bail hearings and variations, resolution negotiations, judicial pre-trials, Charter-related issues, trials, and the management of cases where criminal charges create immediate consequences for employment, immigration status, parenting arrangements, or personal reputation.

In family law, Matthew represents clients in contested and negotiated matters involving separation and divorce, parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, matrimonial homes, domestic contracts, emergency motions, and child protection proceedings. A significant part of his practice involves criminal-family crossover files, where release conditions, domestic allegations, peace bonds, or parallel court proceedings must be managed through one coordinated strategy.

As managing partner, Matthew oversees the firm's lawyers, students, intake systems, litigation strategy, and client service standards. He has grown Kazandji Law into a multi-lawyer practice serving clients from offices in Thornhill, Toronto, North York, and Oakville. He is known for direct advice, practical case planning, and a results-focused approach that identifies both the immediate legal issue and the broader consequences for the client.

Matthew provides services in English and Arabic. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and practises as a barrister, solicitor, and notary public.
