Harangad Singh

Harangad Singh is an Associate Lawyer at Kazandji Law practising exclusively in family law. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, he advises and represents clients in matters involving separation, divorce, parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, domestic contracts, conferences, motions, and contested litigation.

Harangad earned a B.A. LL.B. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhi in 2016. Before coming to Canada, he developed litigation experience in India and served as a Judicial Clerk at the Delhi High Court. That role gave him direct exposure to judicial decision-making, legal analysis, written advocacy, and the practical operation of a busy appellate-level court.

After relocating to Canada, Harangad pursued formal studies in dispute resolution at Humber College and completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. He then articled with a family law specialist in Mississauga, where he developed focused experience in Ontario family procedure, negotiation, client management, drafting, and courtroom preparation. He was also among the early student mediators at the Brampton Small Claims Court, strengthening his ability to identify settlement options and narrow disputed issues.

Harangad has represented clients in high-conflict parenting and support disputes and has obtained interim sole decision-making responsibility for a father in a contested family proceeding. His professional journey and commitment to alternative dispute resolution have been featured by Humber Polytechnic. He uses negotiation and mediation where they can produce a fair and durable outcome, while remaining prepared to seek urgent or contested relief when necessary.

Harangad provides services in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Outside practice, he enjoys golf and travel.
